We all owe Ron Paul a debt of gratitude for jumping in to help save Ken Cuccinelli. This is huge.

On Monday, former Congressman and staunch libertarian Ron Paul (R-TX) campaigned for Virginia Republican Governor candidate Ken Cuccinelli and said Virginias would be giving up on liberty if they voted for Democrat Terry McAuliffe in Tuesday's election and would be "insane" if they voted for so-called libertarian Robert Sarvis, the third-party candidate who may siphon enough votes from Cuccinelli to spoil the election.

anyone accepting and on public assistance should not be eligible to vote , while they are at the trough . Veterans and their families should be the only exceptions ; they earn their societal perks the hard way .
So damn close. Ugh.
Ken Cuccinelli (R) 649,924 47.66%
Terry McAuliffe (D) 618,513 45.36%
Robert C Sarvis (L) 95,163 6.98%
Universal suffer age is the problem. Because humans tend toward corruption. And so if we return to the voting requirements of the founding it will ultimately turn out the same way. But it would buy us some time. I am an indentured servant, against my will, to the takers of society. I am a tax slave to the government, against my will. In short I am a slave.
Sarvis’ vote (Libertarians are chumps) was way more than the difference. But I think the GOP-e scuttled him with lack of support too.
Your fake Libertarian just elected McAwful!
Obviously there is “something” about voting for just anyone who claims to be libertarian.........
Why is he my fake libertarian? I voted for cuccinelli. I said I am a small L libertarian on most issues. But make no mistake, voting third party is a sure way to elect democrats.
Don’t kid yourself Virginia voters. As you walk around Virginia today, many women you see are the ones that sold you out.
The liberals are out in full force celebrating their win and posting snarky comments about Tea Partiers living in a 'bubble'; I wish we were in a bubble because then we'd be insulated from the misery that awaits us. The comments I see only further enforce what I've thought for some time now; Obama's incompetence and arrogance is a reflection of the newest generation of voters. While we conservatives drop our jaws in astonishment as this President lies to our faces, his voting bloc applauds his hubris.
Both parts of that are correct, because lots of diehard libertarians have proved to be pinheads 10X worse than RonPaul and even knowing their “protest vote” is going to give it to the dems, do it anyway. Libertarian = anarchist? Looks more and more like it.
Not sure I’d be comfy with libertarians “having my back” if SHTF, they might somehow think they could cop a better deal for themselves from the progressives.
Strange days we live in. Strange days.
You did say (small l). Trouble is “guilt by association” is often spot on and libertarians are proving to simply be anarchists who are happy to see trouble brewing and tyrants empowered, somehow thinking they can hide in the noise and smoke.
Many of us that rallied with and voted with Tea Party have a wee bit of that (small l) but can see that libertarian is truly every man for himself.
Many local Tea Party gaggles had “control” rapidly absconded by wild-eyed libertarians, which led to most of us backing away from “their brand’ of protest and rallies. Tea Party, the true gut feel conservative movement, not the “Party” is much more common sense with more opportunity for success.
