Agree. While I can’t say I feel good about the results tonight, it could have been much, much worse.

There are some reasons for hope.

Tea Party candidates are not dead. With even a little bit of support from the GOPe, KC would have actually won tonight.

Ideally, we learn from this and continue to grow.

And oddly enough, it still isn’t over. It’s less than 1% still for McAwful.

Look. I know that faux news has great credibility here, but THEY CALLED IT TOO EARLY!

I just looked at the county by county. This is really weird from a Virginians perspective. Several rural counties and areas where KC would do well have yet to report. And unless you know the precincts, you can’t really say how it’s going to salt out.

I’ll be laughed at for saying it tomorrow morning, but I think this is still close to call. Less than 1.5% difference with almost all of Fairfax in.
