The news video stated that the drug dog alerted to drugs on the drivers body - the drivers behavior was inline with known criminals having put drugs up certain entry/exit ways of the body, and with that obtained a search warrant.

Where the LEO’s should have stopped was when the X-Ray returned nothing back...if the one shown in the video was clear of foreign substances - then they should have dropped it. The LEO’s should have walked away or called in a higher supervisor to discuss the possibility of being set-up - or received false positives by the K-9. Despite behavior of grabbing one’s buttocks - people do funny things when stopped by police and in this day and age - agencies have to look at potential law suits from a public hard hit by this recession.

Maybe a law suit wasn’t the intent - but up to the point after the x-ray - nothing was seen - anal cavity search and forced enemas is not the sound way to go...

My opinion, law enforcement agencies used to require high standards during recruitment - I’ve seen those standards drop so low it’s scary....I wonder if the driver had any prior drug arrests?

but then again...the first X-ray showed nothing - then nothing should have occurred afterwards...WOW!
