Are recalls allowed under Pennsylvania law?

While politicians can be recalled at the State level (the mechanism for doing so varies from state to state), I do not believe there is any mechanism for doing so to members of the US House or Senate. They can be removed by their fellow members of Congress, but not by a popular vote.

I wasn’t aware Congresscritters could be recalled in any state. See The Liberty Amendments by Mark Levin

In Wisconsin, we kicked out a judge who signed the recall petition against Scott Walker — our Governor! And it’s just been made public that some upstart Dem who is challenging one of our incumbent Republican Legislators signed that recall petition with a phony address! Catherine Englbrecht’s True the Vote is a wonderful resource. The first candidate to bear voter backlash was FORMER Senator Russ Feingold who lost his seat partly because of his vote on obamacare.

I don’t think you can recall federal legislators.

but recalls are just bad policy in the first place. an electoral “mulligan” just gives the electorate a second chance to do what they should have done right to begin with.

why don’t people just pay the hell attention when they vote the first time?

At the risk of being slightly off topic, if your reps supported Obamacare email them and ask if they or any staff members will be exempt from the healthcare exchanges.

They will probably give a long winded legislative reply to obfuscate the issue and distract you, but they will know we are aware of their hypocrisy.

Federal officers — senators and congressmen — cannot be recalled. This has been litigated both in federal court (Idaho, 1967) and state court (New Jersey, 2013).

Federal elections follow federal laws written by federal politicians and... SURPRISE!... federal laws do not allow recall elections!

Who’da thunk it?
