I Miss Ronald Reagan

That was a very nice post - it contains a wonderful collection of moments that quite effectively convey the essence of the man.

Anyone who lived through that period, and who loved what Ronald Reagan stood for and fought for, cannot now be deeply pained by the darkness that has descended upon this great land.

I recall with great clarity the hope and joy that I felt and shared with all those assembled as I was that night 33 years ago, at Reagan election headquarters in Cleveland Ohio, watching the TV monitors as the great wave of Reagan Blue (yes: back then, we were the "blue states") spread across the map, and into our hearts.

I wish to feel that again, some day.
