True about Medicaid. That’s not insurance.

I don’t think breaking it down into components would solve the problem of biased polling here, though. They could have gotten a general response that was quite different by asking the questions in a less biased way.

As I understand it Midicaid is an entitlement with a twist. If you get put on it they ‘can’ put a lien on your property and estate to ‘repay’ them back for all of the funds used on you for medical purposes.

Another form of generational theft and the inability to leave your descendents any sort of inheritance.

Yes and if you want to lump Medicare and Social Security in their, they follow no actuarial or investment rules. Their is no lock-box or assets, they have been spent and are full of IOU's. It is pay as you go self insurance backed only by the faith and credit bla bla bla.... So what if people loose faith and credit to pay...like Detroit? Where are we then?
