The Obama regime seems to have sent a lot of people over the edge. I’ve noticed a lot of people who I’ve known for a long, long time just aren’t the same people that they were prior to the 2008 “election”. It’s weird. It worries me.

I think that happens when you begin feeling hopeless, like there is nothing you can do to change a situation. I have felt it myself, extremely frustrating and wondering how people can just keep taking all this Crap. One thing after another and nothing is ever resolved!

There has been a big increase in suicides committed by people who are under the age of 45. I know of at least ten people I grew up with who committed suicide over the past five years. I've never seen it this bad. Last week a young lady stopped her car on the highway and jumped to her death from the overpass. There's a lot of hopelessness out there.

I agree, the stress and tension is overwhelming.

... just aren’t the same people that they were prior to the 2008 “election...

I'm sorry to say I've become one of those people (not psychotic, just totally apathetic to anything that happens with the country politically). While I was never blind to Sarah Palin's faults in 2008, the vile hatred I saw spewed towards her from not just the media, but from friends and people in my own family, whom I respect, and whom I thought were fairly conservative Christians, has left me stunned. Then to find out some of them support Obama and have accepted the meme that the Tea Party is a bunch of redneck idiots, has really left me feeling down for the last 5 years. And, there are no websites that are going to replace the broken connections I feel when I am around these people. So, I just plod along and hope for the best. I'm sorry for the negative post, just pointing out that you are right about your assessment.
