Brian Thomas could have elaborated with more background info, but it's best to do extra reading on the anthropological features of a Genesis model of cultural progress, rather than the mainstream interpreters (who are often wrong).

For example, the recorded data in Genesis about the lifespan of the patriarchs after Noah must be explained. How can that information be falsified? That's a very good question for anyone to really think about.
