It's perception. Why open ourselves to being called racist if we can be more persuasive making a different argument?
We will always be called racists and the newly minted Wet Back Voters will never vote for Republicans no matter what we do.
Presuming of course the GOPe doesn't just drink the koolaid and declare themselves members of a new united Progressive party.
