Not a single Republican voted for the Democrats Affordable Care Act, but one liberal Democrat is nevertheless blaming Republicans for the system thats debuted to so much criticism.
While Republicans plot new ways to sabotage the Affordable Care Act, its easy to forget that for years theyve been arguing that any comprehensive health insurance system be designed exactly like the one that officially began October 1st, glitches and all, said Robert Reich, who served as President Bill Clintons Labor Secretary.
Reich says Democrats should have insisted on a single-payer system because it would have been cheaper, simpler, and more popular.

The main difference when REICH lies compared to other socialist democrats is he has to stand on a chair so people can see him.
My friend(Who lives in Oregon) has family in Australia..she has told me repeatedly how Socialized medicine is TERRIBLE, she cant believe the same thing is going to happen here..her father has been experiencing pain in his stomach for months..MONTHS..he couldnt get an exam to find out what is wrong with him..he finally got one two weeks ago after about 6 months of waiting..he found out he has an aneurysm in his abdomen..he is having surgery right now as we speak..Waiting for my friend to give me updates since between here and Australia I believe is about a 15 hour difference..he had to walk around with an aneurysm which I am still surprised he was able to survive for that long without dying but yeah..you have to wait and wait and wait to see a doctor, and after you see a doctor, you have to wait and wait to get the procedure done..THAT is socialized medicine
Dems have been pushing single payer for years..its what they have always wanted..this was never about health care..this was always about power and control..they decide who lives and who dies..its the ultimate power trip for these libs
lol
There are lots and lots of stupid Republicans who have even more stupid ideas!
Lemme see now, “Romneycare” Romney; “End of the Day” Corker, “To Hell with my voters” Cornyn; “Fool’s Errand” McCain, “Make sure that it never happens again” Graham, “Read my lips, No New TAXES!” Bush, “Deficits don’t matter” Reagan, “No child left behind” Bush, “I am not a crook” Nixon, etc, etc.
The important observation is what is the sum of all of a Federal Politician’s ideas?
How rapidly were the stupid ideas rejected by that politician?
Did the good outweigh the harm done by the politician?
A stupid person is one who is incapable of learning. Few Republican Politicians fit that definition.
An ignorant person is one that does not know, a trait common to all who begin the task of learning.
An intelligent person is one who has the ability to learn quickly, something that President Reagan demonstrated frequently, except for his failure to learn about Defecits.
Yup, the Nationalization, single payor “solution” to controlling medical cost was an idea common to Socialists in England, Communists in Russia, and bird-brains at the Heritage Foundation.
England is still stupid, Russia went under, and the Heritage Foundation had to eat crow.
Lesson learned: A Free and Open Medical Market will always outperform anything any Government will ever come up with.
Only the stupid still believe in Nationalized, Socialized or Government Medical. or Medical Insurance Control, as if they haven’t learned it from the abject failure of Obama’Care’ they never will.
BTW, “You can’t fix stupid. Stupid is FOREVER.” (Ron White).
Hillary proposed Single Payer back in ‘93.
How did THAT work out for yinz?
And exactly what evidence does the midget moron have that single payer would be “cheaper, simpler, and more popular?”
Uh, Robert - England, Canada, etc.
Dems always cite Medicare.
Funny, the last four fiscal budgets during the Reagan presidency had lower and lower deficits and dropped as a percentage of both the federal budget and GDP.
Reagan meant “deficits didn’t matter” as a means and they’d take care of themselves with solid economic growth policies along with decreasing the growth of federal spending and, if GHW Bush hadn’t of stabbed him in the back, the process of decreasing and eliminating useless programs and spending.
The tax revenues doubled under his presidency and he did that with almost 100% Dem control of Congress. The GOP had full control of all in 2004-2006 and turned into tax and spend liberals.
A bloated, wasteful, incoherent and bankrupt program. Figures.
2003 Gallup polling showed that the Brits rate their health care as lower quality than we rate ours.
I guess that’s why the senate rules were changed and it was rammed through on Christmas Eve!
Go to hell Reich. You and libtard nation own it.
Here is some B.S. Repellant for when the liberals blame the Republicans for the individual mandate:
Column: Don’t blame Heritage for ObamaCare mandate
