No, the law that was enacted in the late 1800s states that anyone who has a parent of natural citizenship is eligible.
In Obama’s case it was his mother. Cruz is eligible.

Well, if I remember, O’s mother simply wasn’t old enough to satisfy the citizen criterium. So O isn’t a natural born citizen.
No such problem with Cruz.

In Obamas case it was his mother. Cruz is eligible. In Obama's case, his mother was under the age cut-off: his father's citizenship should have prevailed.

Barry's mother did not confer citizenship to him because of her age and the amount of time they allowed for residing in the USA.
