And thank you all very much for your continuing prayers!! I am now recovering very nicely from surgery in a rehab facility where the physical therapists are training me to get around without my legs. And we're making great progress. Getting better each day on transferring myself to and from chair. Staples were removed yesterday! Stump is healing nicely. They're going to evaluate my progress sometime in the next few days. Hoping to be able to go home soon.

That's great news!
Our ancient cat seems to be back to her old furniture destroying self. Eating, drinking and everything!
She is much more affectionate now too. Looks like recovery is in season. :)

Thank you, DJ. I had reached the point where I couldn’t remember what it was like to be well. I am now optimistic that recovery is on the way. It has been years since I have experienced this level of illness, thank goodness.
