If all 200 Democrats in the House voted for an Immigration Reform bill, it would only take 18 Republican RINOs to join with them to pass it. 85 House Republicans voted with all the Democrats on the government shut down/debt ceiling bill.
RINOs from districts with large Latino populations could do it. For example, Darrell Issa’s 49th Congressional District in California is 26% Latino.
Some politicians put self-interest ahead of national interest.
My Rep Kevin McCarthy will vote for it. But it’s like Michele Bachmann says, it doesn’t matter what they pass in the house.
