The lack of support for the Boy Scouts by the Girl Scouts always sounded alarm bells to me; even the media never questioned the Girl Scouts stance on the issues the Boy Scouts were being slammed for.
Women organized is an anathema to the womanhood that is normally in balance (not subservient) with the male counterpart.
Furthermore, the Girl Scouts are not a symmetrical reflection of the Boy Scouts.
