My overall sense, right from day one, was it was created by people who had never created a commercial database application before," said FMS Software developer Luke Chung.
Chung looked over the site and was stunned by the code and the cost - by some estimates, perhaps $200 million.
Chung continued, At $200 an hour, that would be a million man hours, 5,000 man years. I don't think they had time to use 5,000 man years. So I don't know where the money went. I don't know what these people were doing. There're not that many web pages. I don't get it! Where'd the money go?"

Seems there should be an audit of their books!
God help anyone who successfully got their contact info into this system. We all know people who tried to log on just to show what a bad system it was, or to get a quote. I’m betting they will be signed up for Obamacare against their wishes, and if they want to cancel they will have to do so online.
” The Program was written by seasoned Obama political campaign IT operatives.
You mean Obama’s political operatives like these 2 ?
That’s them!
On a more positive note, if one types in the correct set of commands to the ObamaCare web Site, Palestinian Liberation Organization members in the Gaza Strip can simultaneously sign up for health care, cast their vote for the 2014 election and send an untraceable campaign donation in the name of Daffy Duck using a disposable credit card.
That feature works perfectly at this very moment!
Who says the system is not working as intended.
Its easy when you are spending other people’s money.
“Congress really needs to investigate just where all that money really went. “
I’m sorry - what good has any Congressional investigation done in the past 5 years?
In a sane world (or if a Republican were president) that’s exactly what the media would be calling for. Instead, the questions will never even be asked.
This is the same mindset as leftards who plan to build high speed rail in CA or a $54 million dollar-per-mile trolley car system in Minneapolis.
No gubmint program is ever a failure, it’s just ‘underfunded’.
“what good has any Congressional investigation done in the past 5 years?”
Or the past 50? Congress is a toothless tiger.
Final total will likely be around 1.2 billion.
There are some morbidly obese post menopausal urban breeder queens (aka ACORN) who are stuffing the money into their purses in the back room. Dat where da money go.
Ronald McDonald and James Traficant called-they want their hair back.
This is criminal. It needs a prosecutor assigned. There’s no way this system should have cost 1/20th this cost. Who got the money?
Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.

The Donger need healthcare!
How much of the work was done by “Minority-Owned” companies?
That's something that few of us experience every minute of the day...
Being a boy-king ain't easy.
\ Money laundering. Obama's got a nice new house in Hawaii to pay for.
Why don't you just hire the fox the investigate where all the chickens went?
I agree. Don’t know all the software they used, but I read that they were using at least some open source, so no cost for that. Also read on another thread this a.m. that they’re using Google Chrome as the web browser (and asst’d other Google apps) - great for PII collection.
You obviously are not familiar with the term 'racketeering'.
