Boehner is sinking faster than even Obama.

One of Mr. Luntz’s test subjects even called Mr. Obama “principled” for his recent stance during the shutdown.

Give Luntz credit. He somehow always manages to find a different class of mouth-breathing idiot.

These polls are meaningless, as voters are all about ridding themselves of OTHER reps and senators... not their own.

If Boehner had half a brain he would realize that even if none of this were his fault (almost all of it is though), that for the betterment of his party he needs to take the fall NOW by resigning. If he resigns, many will think to themselves “OK, the numbskull who is responsible for this mess is now gone” and the Republicans will have a better chance of recovering and doing well in 2014.

Take the fall NOW buddy for the good of your party. Too much is at stake.

I guess that there are newspapers paying attention to CNN pols. I wonder what the pols for dirty Harry Reid say form a conservative viewpoint? I wonder what the nation really thinks about the house vs the senate? I had been following Rasmussen pols but they seemed to take a 10 point Obama favor after the election after 0zbama complained bout the pols.

60% of Americans could not name John Boehner, pick him out of a photo line-up, or tell you what he does for a living.

Yes, I think Boner needs to go but that is not what CNN is after here. Their message is Boner should go because he can’t control those racist Tea Party nutjobs.

And so the true entity that weilds power in America is once again revealed. Our media shows that they are in control. Here is how. On issue after issue we see the polling say that the American People are against Obama’s policies. Nowhere is that more apparent than with regard to Obamacare. Yet, the second the Republicans stand up against those policies they are hated, villified, at fault.

Only with the cover from the media can this kind of disconnect exist. Basically, the American Sheeple are saying, “we hate Obamacare but more please.”

Until such time as the media is taken out the Republicans, regardless of who is in charge, can expect the same results.

Doesnt matter, no one in the House has the guts to step up themselves to be House Speaker.(except Pelosi)

They didnt in January and they dont now.

They all NEED Boehner, even Lou Gomert needs him.

Boehner’s the goat.
Sure its 60%. that is why they wont step up.

Call them and ask them, make me a liar

So, 46% of Americans are happy with the way the GOP is running Congress but feel Obama is “principled”.

The GOP needs better leadership than Boehner, but it needs to confront Obama more effectively. And I give no credit to these polls.

Polls on COngress INEVITABLY show that most Americans are unhappy with it, but then go out and vote for their own Congresscritter anyway.

And the 2014 elections are some way off.

Hopefully more Americans will realize the kind of demon we have in the Oval Office.

Well, some 40% would NOT be in favor of dumping John Boehner as Speaker outright.

And at least three-quarters of that majority who do favor his removal, would be persons who favored Nancy Pelosi anyway.

Not as terrible a majority as might be imagined.

Polling which reflects negativism about Republicans is assumed by media pundits, even those on FOX, to be about so-called Tea Party Republicans like Reed or Cruz.

No, the great dissatisfaction with Republicans is with those like McCain and Graham who have bargained away our freedom, hidden behind a "conservative" label, and criticized the courageous citizens and their representatives in the House and Senate who hold fast to the Constitution's limits on coercive government power over their fellow citizens.

All who agree with this position on Republican approval indicate by a BUMP.

Dumb poll, expected result.

Deeper in the article, 54% don’t want the GOP to control the House. There is the bulk of the 60% who want Boehner out. Frankly, a good percentage of the Tea Party rank and file want him out also. (Not many of them answer dumb phone surveys, however. Working too hard.)

What is the surprise? Hell, everyone is mad at Congress these days; the left because Harry is an embarrassment; the right because they can’t stop anything and the independents because they “just want to get along”. The fact only 60% want Boehner to go is pretty good.

How many wanted Nancy as Speaker? In 2009, Christian Monitor showed only 38% approval rating of Nancy Pelosi’s job. (Probably didn’t make the evening news.)

Speaker Boehner: Our Drive to Stop the ObamaCare Train Wreck Continues

This Thursday, 10/24, the House Energy & Commerce Committee will hold a hearing on the president’s health care law, which is driving up costs, threatening jobs, kicking Americans out of plans they like – and whose rollout has been a disaster:

Skyrocketing Prices, Blank Screens, & Error Messages
“HHS Secretary refuses to testify about ObamaCare’s rollout”

The hearing - entitled “PPACA Implementation Failures: Didn’t Know or Didn’t Disclose?” - will take place at 9 AM ET and can be watched live online here.

“Our drive to stop the train wreck that is the president’s health care law will continue,” said Speaker Boehner. “We will rely on aggressive oversight that highlights the law’s massive flaws and smart, targeted strikes that split the legislative coalition the president has relied upon to force his health care law on the American people.”

Obama leading from behind, and Boehner winning through surrendering. What could ever go wrong?

Here's the thing.

Half of those who hate him are mad because he shut the government down.

The other half are mad because he surrendered on the shutdown.

McConnell more so than Boehner. At least Boehner stood up. It was the Senate who stabbed the American people in the back.

Boehner needed to make more public all the funding bills that the house passed. Instead he left it up to the press to let the people know.

Big mistake.

He should have hand delivered, with 200+ Republicans in tow, each and every spending bill to Harry Reid and the Senate.

Only that kind of bluntness would have worked with this press and the public that follows them.

...54 percent of respondents aren’t happy that the GOP controls the House — a dire sign for the Republican Party...

Uh-huh. Dig deeper, CNN, instead of floating this straw man argument.

1) I'm sure that the "54%" includes Democrats who would say they don't like Repubs in any position at all, no matter how the question is framed.

2) Of the 54% who are Repubs, most of those are probably real conservatives who are tired of the folding lawn chairs led by Boehner.

Cnn: propaganda for their selected boy-king, pure and simple.

The fix was in but Boehner could not stop Cruz.

Obama and Boehner had already made a deal before Cruz stepped up. Boehner had already sold us out and then could not deliver the body.Rotten bastid.

Stand for something, or fall for everything. The latter is no way to lead the country through Obama’s failures.

My question would be, how much of that 60% is made up of Democrat/liberal respondents? I do not give a tinker’s toot what they think or want, as far as who stays or goes in the Republican party.
