Even with Obamacare, the doctors can still be sued even though they are basically told by bureaucrats what treatments they can apply. This was left to please the lawyers.
By some Californians’ standards, Karl Marx is conservative as well.
Its OK- just tap into some of us old ‘memory banks’
(before I forget any more)
Actually I can remember everything from the 70’s and 80’s and 90’s, just not where I left my keys or cell phone this morning...
OOPS!!! I forgot #4 - LAWYERS and malpractice suits for phony science promoted by... GOVERNMENT!!
How about a class action lawsuit against Barack Hussein Obama II for making such fraudulent claims?
can you imagine what this will do to the medical sciences in our country? Doctors will not be able to afford to practice or the ROI will not be great enough to be troubled. We'll still have doctors but not nearly as many as we need/want.
And how many advanced treatments will never even begin development due to the gub'mint unwilling to pay for treatments with benefits or too little benefit vs costs? - the entire "orphan drug" industry will grind to a halt and forget about the genomic science approaches...
Unfortunately, he will not be able to get the shot right away. Oh, I forgot to mention, I got a letter from their insurance company that they are dropping Dr. (cardiologist), Dr. (lungs) and Dr. Hunt (primary care doctor) from their system as of January 1. I talked to Dr office and it is a government thing. They did not mention anything to his staff about what they were doing - just said they were dropping them. So he is fighting it.
I talked to Dr. Js office and they were shocked! They had not received anything about being dropped so they asked me to scan in the letter I received so they could see it and get started on the appeals process. I will see Dr. Hunts people tomorrow and ask them about it.
ObamaScare has probably hired the guy below to be your health care provider.
The blame goes more to Gov't intervention than greed on the part of doctors.
If the relationship was just between doctors and patients there would be price competition among doctors as in any other industry in the free markets; prices would be affordable.
But once Gov't started putting mandates on doctors, and feeding Medicare money into the system doctors had no incentive to lower prices.
