“Look what happened to our brand”. Mainly, it was further exposed to be the fraud that it is. Good.
Ya don’t win when you won’t fight.
Jheeeze—that must be rocket science.
Yeah, but...if the GOP HAD done that without a fight does Pat really think the libs and dems would just quietly accept all the blame (if any) for Obamacare?
Heck no. They would find a way to pin it on the Republicans. They would say "It's was passed by both houses and the Republican led house KNEW it would fail and did nothing to stop it.
That's assuming there will be any type of critical reporting. And the press is NOT going to criticize it. Oh there are stories NOW but only because the press thinks it's a done deal and is licking their chops to have a one payer system. But all stories do not BLAME Democrats or Obama. They call it "glitches". Or they kind of wink and say "Well that's government for you".
Nope. Shutdown the government. Again and again and again until everyone knows that every member of the GOP who does not make a principled stand against Obamacare will be tossed out of their job or exposed as a destroyer of the American way.
A little mordant humor from Fred Thompson: "An Illinois man wrote his Congressman to say that, thanks to Obamacare, 'my premium is now higher than my mortgage.' Can't wait until Obama fixes the problem by making home ownership mandatory."

Yes... these vermin are now exposed for all to see. We are going to put them on the unemployment line!
Does that make us rocket scientists? ;-)
Pat's best column in a while. Ousting Sebelius would indeed be a worthy goal, and one even RINOs should have no problem with...unless they are actually AINOs (Americans in name only).
If we go down, we’re taking the RINOs with us.
Lets start that conversation by acknowledging we arent going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants... bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society. Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors. [but hes not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.
