Excellent book and great starting point. Being an MD I don’t face all the problems you do and my HDL is usually in the 70s while my LDL and TG are usually in the 50s I do feel for you. OTOH statins can cause serious problems and I have seen folks permanently damaged by them (not by me, thank God). Interesting, especially coming from a doctor. I agree that if everyone paid for their medical services, there would certainly be some good results. I think, for example, that the amount America spends on medical costs would shrink by 50% or more.
