Having a credible plan to improve on Obamacare would have been a big help in the public relations battle, but I thought the tactic of refusing to raise the debt ceiling until Obama agreed to defund or delay Obamacare was not a good idea. My basic premise is that the US, as one of the world’s largest debtor nations, should do nothing to cast doubt on our ability or intent to pay our debts. Uncertainty means higher interest costs, which we simply cannot afford.

It seemed to me that those who were leading the fight believed that if they won the support of the majority of the American people, that Obama would back down and make the desired concessions rather than face the possible calamity of the US running out of funds. But Obama had an advantage in this scenario—he was the only one who didn’t care if the US was seriously harmed. That, after all, has been his goal from the start of his presidency. And here he was almost handed the means to bring possible ruination AND he could blame it on the “radical Tea party fringe.” Perfect for him, not for us.

The Alinskyites will not allow a “credible plan” to survive any more than they will allow a leader to arise in the Tea Party. The will put blinders on for any and all real failures of the libturds but no plan any of you can come up with will survive the ridicule and lies of the libturds and their miscreants in the Brown Shirt Media. Anyone who thinks dragging a plan into the next confrontation will be the solution will be disappointed. The “plan” is simple, Liberty. Integrity, Responsibility, Honor, Duty. Once these words had meaning. No plan or man on a white horse is gonna be a substitute. This is why the Tea Party enjoys the success it has. These words still have meaning for us. These words are why we don’t need a leader or a plan. Lacking these no venture will survive. All we need do is guide our lives toward that beacon that GW said. Toward the banner to which the wise may repair. The actions of the Surrender Caucus tell us they “are not with us”. Fine. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Improve?
Whats to improve?
Just say no.
Why do republicans always cave to the liberal ideas, just stop them.
