All those left wingers are going to be singing a different tune when their “Meemaw” is sent home to die. I will, too. It’s called “I’ll See You at Meemaw’s Funeral”.
The NYT had an op-ed ( and I can’t even locate it, although it was very recent ) giving the POV of a nurse in a hospital involved with a case of a guy coming in with acute liver failure. He was diagnosed with cancer and the nurse relates how she was disturbed by the ease with which a couple of young doctors wrote him off and consigned him to hospice care.
The piece was kind of ambiguous because the facts that were given seemed to justify the doctors’ decision, i.e. it was a hopeless case, and in fact the guy was dead within hours.
So, it’s easy to see this as a put-up job, designed to erode the reader’s resistance to this sort of decision. In fact, that’s how I do see it.
We are being punished for murdering sixty million of our own children. We need a national ‘Day of Repentance’, but it will never happen. People are too proud to humble themselves before our Creator.
I’m not sure those leftists will care. They value their narrow little ideology over all else.
