“I continue to feel that governors who did not implement the state exchanges did no favor to their citizens. Why subject their people to the whims and incompetence of the feds for such an important thing? Seems the residents are going to pay for their governor’s obstinacy. It’s worst for the childless lowest income people who can neither go on Medicaid or get subsidies.”

What? As opposed to the incompetence of state governments? Colorado just spent between $100 and $200 million on its exchange. It doesn’t work and only 226 people have signed up.

Some states more competent than others. Washington State has over 50,000 enrollments.
