Stripping the power of the purse from Congress means that Washington is now irrelevant. As Mark Levin states, only the state legislatures can save us now. The Constitution must be restored and only Article V. solutions are viable now. We have a very small window. We now live under a dictatorship and this is WNITER AT VALLEY FORGE.

A principled Speaker and a supportive caucus could tell a president and a senate to take a hike and make it stick.

Unfortunately, we had neither. Out of 535 members of congress, only 90 combined out of both houses voted against the senate raising of the debt limit. That’s slightly less than 17%.

And some of them probably were on our side for purposes of political cover only.

No there are OTHER ways, not just Art. V. We have the 2nd Amend/Civil War and/or a Second Declaration of Independence.

I wouldn’t trust a Const. Conv. with the likes of CA, IL and the whole N.E. corridor
