Sherman tank. Must be some sitting in a depot somewhere just waiting to roar back to life. Big plus is that they can be carried on the C-130.
I thought the Stryker and other “fighting vehicles” were the light tanks of the infantry.
A Sherman could not be carried by a C-130 since it would be about 18-20 thousand pounds too heavy. Besides, I think a Sherman is too tall to even get it into the fuselage.
