Is this what they call a “clean” CR?
Let’s review. House bill(s) defunded ObamaCare. Senate rejects - no good because the dems want a “clean” bill. So the Senate puts together a so-called “clean” bill loaded with $2B pork to buy off the pub leader and now the House and even Cruz are OK?
On the other thread it’s been posted that the money went in by request of Obama, that this is not a McConnell project.
As much as I hate to say this (as I did on the other thread), we need to consider that this was snuck in to create an additional wedge between McConnell and Conservatives.
There are PLENTY of reasons to hate, and if you live in KY vote against, McConnell. But this sure looks and smells like a setup to me. Lets tread carefully here - as bad as McConnell may be I don’t think anyone here wants to be manipulated, used and abused by the Chicago thugs running the Spite House.
Mcconell, Reid what’s the difference!
The media & the Democrats will focus on this payoff and ridicule the GOP even more. What a gift to them.
You mean to say that old wattle throat McConnell got bought off....NOOOO it cant be true.
“Give me $2 billion in pork and I’ll surrender to Harry Reid and Barack Obama anyday” Mitch McConnell
It is not permissible for me to say what I want to happen to this traitorous dirtbag. Piece of human garbage!!!!!!
Of course they’re kick us in the balls on the way down...
Who says that crime doesn’t pay.
McConnell - TOAST in 2014 or 2016 or whenever.
He has lost any support that he had and has shown that he is just as corrupt and incompetent as any other RINO.
This was the death nell of the Republican Party.Soon it will be no more.Mitch McConnell put the last nail in the coffin. Weirdo John McCain now publicly recites the eulogy.
the kentucky kickback. kentuckians ought to demand that he return the money.
The only thing he was sure about was that he would screw the military as much as possible with the Sequester. Well, screw him, and all Republicans. I am done with all of them.
By the way, John McPain, said this week that he expects to run for Senate reelection in 2016. He knows the people of AZ need the assurance that he will always be there to be their national spokesman. People in AZ can’t sleep at night without knowing McPain is watching over them. He didn’t say a word about changing parties, alas.
