The principal is making a pretty smart decision by passing it onto the student government. I'll bet they not only shoot it down, but that rabble rouser is going to experience some negative peer pressure.

Don’t be so sure of that - the types who get into student government tend to be the liberal control freaks. That’s probably more true in college, but don’t be surprised to see misguided “do-gooderism” from them.
