Hillary Clinton could win all 50 states running against Banana Republicans in 2016
The Hill ^ | October 11, 2013 | Brent Budowsky

Posted on 10/14/2013 8:03:43 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

I saw a recent poll suggesting that former first lady, United States senator and secretary of State Hillary Clinton would beat Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in a hypothetic presidential campaign, even in the reddest states.

This made me think of a happy thought for Democrats: it is within the realm of possibility that Clinton would win all 50 states in an epic, historic and realigning mega-landslide against the party that threatens a Republican default, a Republican economic crash and a Republican government shutdown.

Here's why:

Republicans have been accused of waging a war against women, a war against workers and a war against the poor. Republicans have been accused of waging a war against the environment while they deny global warming. We even have Republicans waging a war against the American economy, while some Republicans even deny the deadly economic dangers of a U.S. default.

It gets better for Democrats: Now, Republicans are waging a war against everyone. Veterans and military families face hardship because of the Republican shutdown. Small-business people cannot get loans because of the Republican shutdown. Tourists find national parks closed because of the Republican shutdown. It goes on and on and on, which is why Republican polling numbers have been falling like a snowball down a mountain during an avalanche.

It gets even better for Democrats: Republicans have been accused of waging a war against the 99 percent, which is bad enough, as Mitt Romney learned the hard way. But now, Republicans are even waging a war against the 1 percent.

Think about it: If the debt ceiling is not increased and markets crash, the 1 percent get screwed along with everyone else. And — this is important — if the government shutdown continues, consumer confidence and consumer purchasing power go down. Retail sales go down. Sales and earnings and profits of most businesses, large and small, go down. And with the latest GOP scheme for a short term deal, which will continue the sadomasochism in Washington through the Christmas shopping season, the Banana Republicans could ruin the holiday for Mom and Dad, the kids, and businesses across America.

Bill and Hillary Clinton represent better days for the economy, and a Clinton presidency that led to powerful economic growth, prosperity and jobs even while the Banana Republicans tried to impeach him. Hillary Clinton represents to voters the ability to lead, the ability to govern, and the ability to grow the economy. If she runs against the Banana Republicans, who are so unpopular today, she could actually win all 50 states in November 2016. That's a happy prospect indeed, for Democrats.

Republicans should allow a vote in the House to end the shutdown, no strings attached, now.

I saw a recent article that Hillary was trying to buy back stinger missiles from Al Qaeda ( she gave them to fight the Qaddafi air force)in Benghazi and they just took the 400 million in printed money and killed the the “bag man”,Stevens and his special agents. If that is true , she should be hung for treason after a proper trial by veterans. She aint goin anywhere. CRUZ IS THE MAN!!! Hillary is a TRAITOR.

As I was reading the first few paragraphs of this thread, a memory quickly washed across my mind...

It was during the 2008 elections, when it looked like Hillary was causing major headaches for Obama... and then there was the meeting... and then Hillary bowed out.

Most figure it was because Obama promised her a position of prominence in the administration... Others speculated that he promised her a setup for 2016. Of course many even speculated that the meeting was all about Obama having the goods on her.

I don’t think she would have just settled for a prominent position in Obama’s administration, and i’ll bet dollars for donuts she had the goods on him too.

The fix is in.

Nah, we will always have Utah. She might get Arkansas and Missouri but I don’t think it would be a blowout in the worst case scenario.

I know someone who believes her ex husband, the police, FBI, and a local radio station are all conspiring to use said radio station to cause her to have uncontrollable orgasms at random times. She is no-s*** serious about this, and obviously certifiable.

I put about as much stock/faith in her claims as I do in the notion that her thigh-ness, the "mastermind" of the Benghazi criminal negligence and cover up could win all 50 states.

But half the people in this country are just like the woman you know. Voting for Hillary will give them orgasms.

I don’t doubt she’ll win by a large margin, but 50 states? Please.

Brent, put the hash pipe down. She won’t win beyond 35 states.
