I read Steppenwolf, Herman Hesse, not sure of your music reference. The book was depressing and no wonder Hesse committed suicide, sadly. But how does this apply to us? Just asking? We are not surrendering to the Wolf from the Steppes, neither in their political garb, nor in our inner hearts, which are beating strong in the love of liberty. Just asking, ok, as I want to better understand your reference.
The line I quoted is from a 1969 song called “Monster” by the group Steppenwolf. You can listen to it on You Tube. Eerily, it is appropriate today as well.
