Story behind the Truckers....
They did not want to distract from the Vets so they sent a small convoy of trucks to the Memorial and were to pass just once to show the Vets they were supporting them. When they arrived their was an outpouring of cheers from the hundreds there.
Meanwhile outside of DC there was a convoy of trucks with their flags etc. waving and cars tooting...the highway was backed up ten miles behind them........the news would not report on this event.
