Dad was an E-1 private (no “airman” yet), mustang to OCS, radar operator, nav school, pilot training, retired as an O-5 and then finished his college an went to law school. We’re partners. Great blessing.

My Mother told me that my Dad was asked to go to OCS, but he didn’t go. I never found out why. Unfortunately, he’s gone to be with God and so has my Mom, so I’ll never learn why. I just realized I should correct something, when my Dad was initially in the service, as I understand it, it wasn’t the US Air Force, it was the Army Air Corps. He later was in the AF when they changed.
