That is the one that doesn’t pass the smell test for me. If he did, this would all be on surveillance video, and he would be out on his ass with no desk job to ride out until he retires ~ and rightfully so. But now there isn’t even a trial or military tribunal, where he could be judged by a body of his peers? I had heard about this story about the 17 in Wyoming and read about Giardina in the Washington Times in a small 2” inch X 2” article and thought I would like to see more details on the story. When I did the search it turned up yet another General, in the highest ranks of the military strategic command, seemingly rendered by the military. No due process. No day in court.

There was a bunch in Minot about a year ago, too. IIRC there were 17 or 18 of those. Those I knew from the 91st wing were pretty proud of their birds and readiness status, and it had only been a decade or so since I have seen any of them, so I found it a bit surprising that many got the boot.
