I don't say that Boehner is a bad person, but he's inept beyond inept, and (as nearly as I can tell) he can't think one move ahead, and he doesn't care for preparation or homework. (Corrections invited)
IIRC, we got the sequester-based screwing of our military thanks to Mister Boehner's inabilities; and there was never any reason to think that HE could think any more clearly in a second term as SOH.
I welcome challenges to my opinion (even if your name is Boehner).

Inept is appropriate ... but even more damning he's the quintrssrntial Washington insider. A fat cat that has enjoyed the perks of office far too long and comes across as resenting his leadership role because it thrusts him into the spotlight exposing his incompetence. Boehner needs to go ... no question.
