Greetings, Brother T! I intend to be there rain or shine. I'm wondering if Metro would be an option. Is there a station close to WWII Memorial? I can't walk too far - using a walker.

Last Saturday I took the Metro from Pentagon City.
The closest Metro station to the WWII Memorial appears to be the Smithsonian Station. From the Smithsonian to the WWII Memorial is about one mile.
Maybe a cab from there is an option?

Closest station (blue & orange lines) is the Smithsonian but that is still on the opposite side of the Washington Monument.
Maybe get off at an outlier station and take a cab to the WWII Memorial. Once at the Memorial, check around about getting a ride back to a Metro station. I can always get my car and pick you up.
Check out Post 28. I am the one holding the tall flag. Hope to see you there.
