I heard a throw-away line on the show Elementary last night. It may not be a part of this Lear project, but it demonstrates the principle just the same.

Watson is reading the bio of the suspect and says "He quotes Ayn Rand."

Holmes hears this and says "Ah... Ayn Rand - the philosopher-in-chief to the intellectually bankrupt."

The story then goes on.

It had nothing to do with the story, other than to allow the writers to toss in a subliminal dig at Ayn Rand.

Boner is trying to give Obama a pacifier and candy to keep him from crying, when he should do what experienced parents do, put them to bed and shut the door, to let them cry themselves out.

I like that show but get pissed everytime they do that.My wife forces me to watch “Jeopardy”. It’s the only thing she can beat me at(LOL) but the left wing bias is so bad on there I’m about to quit watching it.
