Rabbi Yisrael Ariel of the Temple Institute and activist Yehuda Glick were arrested Thursday morning on the Temple Mount.
An eyewitness told Arutz Sheva that the two were violently arrested at the exit to the holy site. Police dragged the men on the ground, he accused.
Police said the two were arrested for praying and bowing down while visiting the Temple Mount, which is the holiest place on earth according to Judaism, and the site where the First and Second Temples once stood.

We need 50,000 brave men to rise up and pray on the Temple Mount.
I hope that one day soon, the Jews will control all of Jerusalem. This is shameful.
The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is the holiest place in the world for Jews and Jerusalem is their holiest city. Oversight of this piece of property should not have been given to the Arabs by the Jews after the Arabs attacked Israel in 1967 and lost the war they started. For the Muslims the holiest place is Mecca. Muslims hardly ever bothered to go to Jerusalem or to Palestine until the Jews made the land flourish once again and that’s all within a little more than 100 years ago.
You all must understand, that closing eyes and rocking the body back and forth constitute prayer! Taking a note out of one’s pocket is also listed as a no-no!
I seriously doubt either of these good men engaged in activities outlined above, because they knew they were being watched.
I visited the Temple Mount with a group from our congregation. One of our group had his prayer shawl with him and had to leave it with security. He could not take it with him to the holiest site of our faith.
We were told not to take any religious symbols with us, and to refrain from praying, lest we start a deadly riot. I said the Shehechianu silently. I was told that the Muslims had spotted a Christian woman standing in the same place for a long time, and assumed that she was praying silently, and threw her off the Mount.
I wish I was a ventriloquist. I could have created the illusion that a Muslim was praying in Hebrew.
What is the world coming too?

May I live long enough to sing Hatikva watching that abomination of desolation fall. May I or my close descendants live to sing Kaddish at the rebuilding of the Temple.
