It makes perfect sense. Obama want to precipitate a crisis because...........You fill in the blank. He wants fundamental change from a coutry relatively prosperous to everyone being broke.

Health care has been sold to the chins as a population control...total failure and they pull the rug out on the market.GOP has a guy who crys in public to negotiate.
On the flip side implementation would probly result in eventual devaluation of the dollar they dont want that yet.
At the same time....metals supply is so tight I think the suppression is about to fail....that will piss’m off too.
So they are probly lookin at the land collection deals but gun confiscation is going backwards because some of the Dems want to get elected again.No joy.
