The house has already passed a bill allowing DC to use it's own money to operate. Reid won't allow a vote on it.

Perhaps the House leaders should invite the DC leaders to “walk the bill” funding DC over to the Senate, and they can stay in the gallery and watch Repubs try to introduce or watch Harry table it. Maybe for some of the DC crowd it will be an epiphany of sorts. Repubs willing to work with them and Harry not. Perhaps there will be some who will put Country before their skin color/ethnicity.
