Fox News Channels The Kelly File handily beat rivals in total viewers, an auspicious start for the networks first new primetime program in more than a decade, as well as its host, Megyn Kelly.
According to early Nielsen totals, Fox News Channels The Kelly File lured nearly 2.1 million viewers between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m,. Monday evening, compared with 997,466 for MSNBCs Rachel Maddow Show and 529,946 for CNNs Piers Morgan Tonight. The figures could change slightly.
MSNBCs Maddow secured more viewers among audiences between 25 and 54 years of age, the demographic most coveted by advertisers in news programming. “”Last night, Megyn brought up the “hated man” comment, obviously that item did not poll or email well. I’ll give her a few more chances, but I’m not going to watch leftwing crap. I refuse too.””
I gave in and watched the rerun at midnight ET. She was chomping at the bit to get her “explanation” in about the Cruz comment brought up by her guest. She looked as tho’ she was ignoring everything else he said or was totally bored. Notice she didn’t have any other comments.
WOW! The guest was certainly impressive. Glad I watched but I don’t intend to make this a habit unless it’s praised as a good show by freepers at the earlier time. She didn’t make the show - Lynch, Ollie North and Duncan Hunter made the show!!!
Hopefully her ratings will fade and she will be replaced with a conservative.
Me neither.
Greta is just as boring.
I agree with you on all points. Even though I was not always a fan of Hannity, at least he presented the most consistent conservative viewpoint on Fox, in comparison to obnoxious Bill O'Reilly and Greta. And BTW, in my Central Time Zone, I don't see Hannity on Fox at all, except for 12 midnight - 1 am, which would make it 1-2 am ET. So I don't see where Hannity is on anywhere close to 10 pm or which time zone.
And lastly, Yes, Megan Kelly's hair looked like a mess on her opening debut. I did not watch any Fox News last night, so I don't know if her hair style was improved or not. I don't really care that much since I won't be watching Kelly spew her liberal ideology, pro-homo/lesbian viewpoints to me.
Bottom line is, if I need to stay up till midnight-1 am CT to watch Hannity, I won't watch any Fox News (O'Reilly, Kelly or Greta) if those are my only choices from 7 pm - midnight CT. The last thing I want to listen to is 5 hours of liberalism or attacking conservatives. Bring Hannity back to prime-time. In the meantime I will just get my news updates from FR, which at least allows me to read comments by fellow conservatives for the most part.
But at least more relevant.
