FDR may been born an American, but he was as Red as they come. Read Paul Kengor’s book about Frank Marshall Davis (The Communist). I’ll bet there’s some stuff in there most people have never heard before.

Amity Shlaes book, "The Forgotten Man" is also a good book about how The New Dealers were members of the far left.
