I don’t use it for anything except practice/plinking. Hornady makes some steel case ammo that’s acually pretty good stuff. Of course it ain’t exactly cheap either.
I had an older box of steel-case, which didn’t feed well at all thru the ShureFire 60-rnd mags. They seem to like brass better. I gave it to a guy at the range, who seemed real happy to get it, when ammo was in “short supply”.
