The bill that the House passed on the VA simply funds the VA. It doesn't mention anything about Obamacare. It doesn't mention anything about anything else. Now, for hundreds of years, the way Congress is appropriated has been one topic at a time. How is it blackmail to say we think we should fund the veterans? Do you agree? That's a yes or no vote. Now Harry Reid refuses to let the Democrats vote on that. But how is it blackmail to say, we may not agree on everything but is there anything we can agree on? We ought to agree on supporting our veterans.

i’m not sure where the word tactics came from but i like the fact that is sounds like tacking in sailing terms. the strategy in a sailboat race is obvious the tactics however involve calculating where on the course you will need to be to win the race. tacking is just going up windward stair steps because you can’t sail directly into the wind. maybe these guys have figured out how to do that.
We wouldn’t have been ready for Cruz and neither would the House had he come along sooner....
I sometimes think God withholds the answers and men we need because we don’t see what he wants us to see ....until we are open to see things as he wants us to we cannot handle what he has for us.

What I see in Cruz is a man who has done his work....’knows’ how gov. works AND how it should not work and for this knows how to answer.
Further he knows how the media works and journalists operate so he is prepared to “control” the conversaton where it needs it.
HE sort of reminds me of Newt in his control of what he knows and needs to be said. And like with Newt...they really don’t like to interview him because they know they can’t trip them up.
That’s exactly why democrats and the media use people like Crawley.....they are masters at making republicans look like idiots because many of them are....which is why Cruz looks so good in his responses. He doesn’t care if they are after him to take him down or not...he keeps on message regardless....and they are learning he’s going to do so...therefore they have to themselves be prepared or end up looking like the fools that they are.
THAT is how the House of Representatives exercises its Constitutional power of the purse. No more "omnibus" spending bills!
I honestly think the journalists like Cruz....he’s a challenge to them rather than the same old talking points by politicians who don’t know crap what they’re talking about.
No thanks to Cruz being a Savior...we already have one....we don’t need to be making more of those. In fact Cruz wouldn’t be very happy if people try to make him some sort of God head.
He’s a fine statesman and would definately be great up against Hillary.....journalists/media are in part of the candidate selections...I think they may very well want to see Cruz run because it would make great story lines and be an amazing Election from start to finish.
Media has more and more identified that the public is tired of their journalistic games...and their ratings etc. are showing it....they may very well use this next election to get back in favor with the public...if they’re smart.
He showed epic restraint when Candy called Dana Bash “a big girl.”
That “omnibus” crap is the way Progressives and RINOs instituted, hid and perpetuated the crony capitalism within the government. Solyndra and all that green crap was buried in the bowels of those omnibus or CR bills where they were not readily available for public scrutiny.

She was unveiled specifically during the last presidential debates but she has continued to amass a very visible/audible record of leftist bias since then.
If you can show a person a documented list of her transgressions, then you have won the day even if no action is taken against her.
You can’t refute the truth; only deny it.
