The plan he just bought on the Arkansas state exchange has a $0 premium (after the government subsidy he gets because of his low income level) . . .

So does the person who is actually paying for this guy's insurance also think it is awesome?

He gets free premiums and a $750 deductible. You can’t find a silver plan WA state with a deductible that low. They start at $2000 with a cap at 3500, and go down to $1250 with a cap of $7000 for an HMO. I am surprised a deductible like that can be had. That is my polite way of saying I think this Butch story is a load BS.

Our local news showcased a Mexican gal, speaking Spanish with the Obamacare navigator, who was all excited because she went from having no insurance to $0 because she now qualifies for expanded Medicaid. Yay!
