This is a 5th amendment illegal takings. If it is private property, it cannot be coopted by Obama without fair compensation and due process.

I suppose it’s possible at least some of these had clauses in their land leases that allowed the fed’s behavior. Absent that I’d say it was an unconstitutional illegal taking with an added statutory twist. The 5th demands compensation for the taking, but not only was none provided, none could be provided due to the government shutdown status. Wouldn’t that violate the Antideficiency Act and wouldn’t that allow provide consequences for the individual federal agents illegally incurring federal debts.
