The above is the relevant part of the amendment. Obama is proposing to depend on this to resolve the impasse while he steadfastly ignores any other part of the constitution which seems to inconvenience him. He may as well hold a conference and announce that from now on he is to be the unquestioned dictator and his WORD is law regardless of anything to the contrary.

No need to invoke that curse, it is painfully obvious that we do live in interesting times. There are many adjectives to describe what is happening but UNinteresting is NOT one of them.
I think we’re talking past each other. We agree.
