We are probably 10 years from having a computer powerful to process this piece of crap legislation. Instead of scraping the tax system they used it for the model for the ACA.
We have computers that are adequate for the task. The software is the problem.
Amazon handles activity that is at least an order of magnitude higher than this, especially in the peak online shopping season immediately after Thanksgiving. They have designed their system so that capacity can be easily added, and then idled when not needed.
