This is why we need to get our facts right and aim our fire at the right target. Just like some fired at the park rangers when they were trying to find ways to look the other way and help the vets, now we have people blaming the fence company.
However, this could still turn out well. In fact, it could turn out **REALLY** well.
And LonePalm, I am really glad you were polite. It seems to have worked.
Since it's obvious the fence company doesn't like how they are being associated with this use of their product, are there Freepers (maybe LonePalm) who can credibly contact this company and ask them to consider issuing a public statement that they support free speech rights of veterans and object to how their product is being used?
“Optics” are important.
A statement like that could seriously undercut the narrative being advanced by the liberals on this issue.
The company officer I spoke with said that they were located in DC. They have to do business there.
The impression I got was that they did not want to get dragged into this as they would get hurt either way. I think the best thing is to let people know they were NOT involved in this even if their company name was on the Barrycades.
