"Ive been coming across various comments on line about people opting-out of the Obama-health beast. Might be the beginning of a ground swell, but I understand if you dont sign up youll pay a fine......and for those who get tax returns theyll deduct that fee from their return."
Correct. Reading your sentence, it absolutely appalls me how this is Constitutional. But apparently, thanks to some absolutely corrupt judges on the United States Inferior Court, we now have this Unaffordable Care Act.
"Meanwhile they have no insurance...so if so and they get seriously ill...what options, if any, do they have? Will emergency rooms be able to refuse them...or require, before theyre helped, they sign up?"
Doubtful. You cannot "MAKE" me do anything. Make me sign up for mandatory health insurance? What if I'd rather pay the fine due to ideological disagreements? Are you then going to tell me my ideological beliefs are illegal, as well?
As it currently stands, by the way, emergency rooms are required BY LAW to screen and treat anyone who comes in at any time for any reason, regardless of insurance. That is federal law and is one that is strictly enforced.

But what does the Obamacare Beast actrually say about this...and because it is also “LAW” does that override the current LAw regarding treating patients?
The whole thing is a loose loose proposition IMO.
