OK....so here is an idea (and I admit it may be a bad one...but I'm just throwing stuff out there):

What if the GOP were to put forth a bill which actually implemented Obamacare, and funded it, but it restricted the funding to that which was promised?

In other words: OK dems....we will fund it...for what you promised us it would cost.

How could they argue against that?

Counter-proposal:
Funding of ObamaCare contingent on the elimination (not renaming, rolling-into another agency, or other such non-reduction of government employees) of the following departments:

  1. FDA
  2. BATFE
  3. FBI
  4. CIA
  5. NSA
  6. USDA
  7. DOD (Not the military, mind you, the burearchy controlling the military branches)
  8. DOE
  9. Other DOE
  10. NEA
  11. FCC
  12. DEA
  13. DOT
  14. EPA
Also, howabout including repeal of:
  1. GCA
  2. NFA
  3. Asset forfeiture law
  4. Patriot Act
  5. War Powers Act
  6. Internal Revenue Code
IOW, let's make it a "give up everything else that the federal government has that's not strictly/explicitly delegated powers for it" sort of deal.
