Headline at Drudge Report "DELAY OBAMACARE A YEAR OR WE WILL SHUT IT DOWN - BOEHNER MAKES MOVE"
Right on cue, Boner helps Obamatollah save face and push this nightmare until immediately after the 2014 elections.
If the RINO’s are supporting it, we probably shouldn’t
bump
Well, they ain’t gettin’ amnesty!
That’s my point. Obamacare will be fully implemented. The House attempt to delay it willl fail.
Yes, Roberts needs to be investigated.
Meanwhile, I’m hoping there are cases going forward that will challenge it.
Agree.
Delay DOES shut it down! Harry Reid said so. OBams said so. Surely, we can bank that. /
A one-year delay is a capitulation to Obama - it’s exactly what Obama wants, to mask the damage his program has done, to put off the consequences until the 2014 election.
We need real leadership, whose negotiating strategy doesn’t include insisting on the best outcome for the opposition.
Not true. In 2002, Bush needed the Rats in the House to vote for authorization to go after Iraq. The vote was scheduled right before the election and they were forced to go along because of it. It doesn’t “always” go their way, just usually.
If the Pubblies spend the intervening year making it clear this is the Rats’ tar-baby (as they have since this turkey passed), it will break their way. This goes around the media megaphone.
If Obamacare is delayed it is because the Republicans gave something up. Boehner keeps mentioning there will be an amnesty vote. Hopefully Boehner is dangling that to get rid of Obamacare.
Then he does what Reid does and tables it.
If TEA Party Republicans can take the House and Senate in 2014 we will be well on the path to long term victory. We need to win election after election for at least a generation. We also need to purge the comfortable old boys club of the likes of McCain and Graham. Too cuddly with the enemy for my taste.
Boehner assigning blame to his own party, wow.
How about a strategy that wins the Senate and strengthens the House?
We need to elect some aggressive Senators, but I don’t see too many in the wings or too many capable candidates. Do you?
This, I like.
See what it's like to be on the offensive, Johnny?
They were on their way, but we lost control. We need to hold the Congress for a generation to undo the damage. Under Clinton we forced through all kinds of reforms, but they’ve been undone.
House districts are small enough (generally) that a good candidate can deal with the MSM, often by totally avoiding it.
Senate campaigns of course entail an entire state and the MSM usually plays a big part.
The MSM is springloaded to go after Tea Party candidates, and sadly many of these candidates have not completed a “boot camp” to teach them how to compete.
