I think Cornyn was a "big government" guy when he was first elected. I used to watch the Senate very closely, as in every day while taking notes. I did that for about two years (
Senate by Cboldt), and once I figured out "the game," I lost interest. You won't find a more dishonest bunch of 100 people on the planet. The number of decent people in that body is less than 5.
Coburn has soured over the years, but Cornyn has been a snake from the get go.
